AME 7

The Wateree District of the South Carolina Central Conference of the Seventh Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church is comprised of 21 churches located in Calhoun, Lexington, Orangeburg, and Sumter Counties. The Wateree District of AME 7 is staffed by a Presiding Elder, an Area Consultant, and twenty-one Pastors, seven Clergy Officers, twelve Laity Officers, . 

The Presiding Elder, Area Consultant, Clergy Officers, and Laity Officers are all committed to providing servant leadership for the members of our 21 churches and 19 ministries whose overall mission is to make available God's Biblical principles,  spread God's liberating gospel, and provide continued programs that will enhance the entire social development of all people. With everyone working together to do the will of God, we will be able to continue our goal of transforming the Wateree District through Evangelism, Discipleship, and Engaging Ministries.
